Combat Training Hw 1

Hush had gotten her First Aid Homework done, that was easy however she had been procrastinating on her Combat Training Homework. She wasn't totally sure how to explain her reasoning's. Hush had a dark side, an eraser side that got out of control when she got angry. She had originally joined the class to face her fears of losing control, because she though fighting would trigger her blood lusting side.  The last time she did a spar with a friend, it had ended in disaster. After 'talking' with Hoeko for a short time by the lake, she decided that maybe just self-defense was better, if she could disarm or disable an opponent without fighting them directly maybe she could keep her eraser side in check. Because of her obvious disability she was writing out her paper to turn into Hoeko instead of signing out in front of the class.

"My code of honor is to not harm people unless they try to harm me first. Sometimes people don't know better, so I give them the benefit of the doubt. At first I only wanted to fight for myself to protect myself, but now that I have made many new friends here at the camp, I am willing to do anything to protect them. Even if it means fighting with all of my strength, even my hidden ones."

She looked up from the page as she thought about her aggressive side. She shook her head and continued to answer the questions.

"I fight when only necessary, to either stop one from getting worse or for self-preservation. I actually don't like fighting that much, I'd rather run from a battle then fight face to face with something or someone. I originally joined this class to face my fears of letting myself be overcome by a side of me I'd rather not like to share. I believe it feeds off anger and the need for battle, I wanted to prove to myself that I can keep that side at bay. But now im realizing my goal for this class from now on, is to learn self defence, to learn how to disarm or disable my opponet before I have to fight. I hope to learn some ways to be better prepaired for fighting, as well as to give myself a peice of mind that I can do this and not be scared. But with your help Hoeko, Im sure that I will be ready in no time"

Hush felt satisfied with her homework she double checked for spelling errors. The German shepherd eraser girl turned it into Hoeko's desk, bowing lightly before going back to her seat with a smile. Next to her was the infamous Mohawked mutant working on her own homework.

Zuri is a smug little zebra tiger but she didn't feel like getting her striped ass handed to her by Hoeko if she explained her reasons out loud. They weren't all exactly noble or honorable, so she went with the safe written route.

"My code? My code of honor is to fight anyone who tries to fight me. I've got a reputation to keep, and I'm not about to lose to some mutants or humans who think they are better than me, but aren't. I fight for myself and some of my friends, Oh yeah especially for my girlfriend... Heh I'd do anything to keep her safe."

Zuri's mind wandered for a moment as she daydreamed about Amelia. Oh that girl was cute... and tough... and a really great kisser. A blush spread on her face realizing she had doodled hearts all over her paper. She hesitantly scribbled them out.

"I fight because now I can; I've always been a weakling with no talent or strenth to back up my intimidating personality. But now... Now I'm stronger and better than before. I joined this class to refine my new skills and refine my new talents. My main goal is to learn how to control my acid trip powers longer, I always struggle to keep them up for longer than 5 minutes... And then I start tripping and it doesn't help me then."

Zuri over looked her own paper, eh it was close enough, it was only her first assignment, she didn't even think she was going to do any of the homework. She waltzed up to Hoeko's desk with swag coming off UV's off the sun. She placed the paper down fixed her Mohawk and went back to her desk to chill for the rest of the class period.
